You'll be ready for vacation cityscapes and flattering long-lens close-ups of your family and pets, as you've got about a 3X zoom range between wide and tight. It's just the thing when you don't know what you'll be shooting next, but you want your images to look their best. You'll need to pick up an SD card or Memory Stick PRO Duo(tm) as this camera has no internal memory and does not come with any included media. Don't forget to explore other available lenses like the 16mm wide-angle SEL lens. You'll make an incredibly useful camera even more so.
